Located eight miles from downtown Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, in the heart of the South Hills, St. Clair Country Club is searching for a motivated, reliable and passionate Swimming Pool Manager. Our Team is committed to providing the highest quality Pool experience to its 870 members and their families and guests. The Pool is operating seven days per week, from Memorial to Labor Day. A desired start date for the candidate is May 8, 2023. The aquatic center offers a swimming pool, kids pool, snack shop and bar. In addition to a busy pool season, the club has a competitive swim and diving team.

Job Tasks (Duties)

1. 1. Hires, trains, supervises, and evaluates staff
   1. Formulates weekly work schedules and rotation schedules for all pool employees
   2. Maintains proper chemical balance in pools and maintains mechanical equipment in coordination with the Club's Maintenance Director
   3. Maintains correct payroll records
   4. Maintains clean locker rooms, deck, pool grounds area, and snack bar cleanliness
   5. Registers members at pool and charges for all guests, lessons, etc.
   6. Provides necessary orientation and training for pool staff
   7. Enforces Club rules of safety and conduct
   8. Plans and directs special events in coordination with the Club's Event Coordinator
   9. Represents the Club in activities/meetings as required
   10. Maintains and keeps all necessary records concerning pool attendance, pool chemicals, accident reports, problem-member reports, lifeguard and instructor schedules, time sheets, etc.
   11. Reports any accident, infraction, or safety concern related to the pool immediately to the Assistant General Manager and General Manager
   12. Develops and implements a pool safety program
   13. Organizes swim lessons, both group and individual, with the guards and membership

   Required Certifications

   Certified Pool Operator, Certified Lifeguard, AED/CPR Certificate
